2014 reflection

I had a good year at this school it was the best class ever i"m going to miss use. Happy Christmas I love 2014 it's   It's going to be a lovely year I hope it's going to be the same next year It's probely going to be the same next year I love the teachers they are awesome I want to be with them next year I dont want to change class . this class  It is going to  be much beter next year happy new year and merry christmas I'm going to miss the teachers when they go on a holiday I might miss them I like mr somerville. I hope you have great year.

Application to be an Ambassador in 2015

This term we been learning about learning about art work. In week six we got to go to a trip to the art gallery. We got to see some very old paintings. A lady told us a story and we had to figure out which picture the lady was talking about.  Then we found it we had to draw what might of happened next.

When I got back to school we made  the following presentation about the art gallery. We had to put photos what we saw and what we did.

I shared this presentation on my blog so other people can find how cool the art gallery is.

Art Gallery

On Friday the Year 5’s went to the Auckland Art Gallery for our trip.  We were going to be looking at different sculptures and art work. I was really excited because it would be my first time going. We went on the bus, it was really loud cause everyone was shouting.  I was in charge of taking photos using one of the iPads.

When we got there we had to wait until 10 o’clock because that was when the Gallery opened.  We heard a bell that meant the Gallery was now open.  The door to go in kept spinning around and around, we had to make sure we kept walking forward when we hopped in the door.  We were meet by lots of ladies that were going to show us around.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

After we got into our groups we were given a task to do.  Our task was to find a picture with 4 people in it. Once we found it we had to draw the picture. This was lots of fun. When we had finished drawing the picture we were allowed to draw our own design.  We walked around the Gallery to the Lego area. We were making things with the lego. We could pull stuff off the lego statue and use it to build things. Chyrus built a dog and a chair,  he stuck it on top of the building that someone else built.

We heard a big bell that rang to reminded us what time it was. I was happy it was lunchtime. All of the groups went outside to eat our lunch. I was so hungry I couldn’t wait to eat it all. After we ate our lunch we went to the fountain, it was so hot that I dipped my head in it so I could be cold. It was cool we even got to climb a big as tree it was so easy to climb. For  our last activity we went back to the art gallery and into this art room we had to draw what we did in the holidays.  They gave us a piece of paper with a jar on it, we had to cut out the jar then draw all the activities we did in the holidays. I drew about Eggs Day Out, on my picture I had a helicopter dropping easter eggs from it.. After that I painted my picture and we had to give it to Mrs Jacobsen.

The best part of the day was when I got to paint and draw my own pictures.  I would go back to the Art Gallery again because I really enjoyed it.

Sleep over.

Did you know that I had a sleepover at Shelford House we had lots of fun we got to play Xbox 360 

We were playing Three player it was me Shelford   

and Brandon was the best and I came second. Brandon came first  And Shelford came Third.

Next we had to wake up and make breakfast We 

had weetbix with milk And sugar we had fun for lunch we had fish sausages and chips and then we 

got to play the game for a little wile after we went pools.

Playing games

In the weekend we were playing games it was cool, It was so cool I was excited because I was on saint rows running around  I tried doing cheats I had a new cheat it was to never die and never make your own bullets waste this is code is to make you never die  #36 that's is to never die I had lots of fun I was happy I could never die and I didn't share with my brother It was fun After that I had to go out side and play. My mum said I had to Because I played inside to long. Thank you hope you comment me.

New Zealand vs America

It was a cool game it was american vs new Zealand new Zealand won by miles hard luck for the american rugby team they should tackle and run striate and keep on passing it was a hard game for the Americans but they are still good at rugby the only thing I liked about the Americans is there running and stepping but the all blacks they were very well at this game they should keep it up.

In the weekend it was so hot  we went to the beach I saw a big shell on the sand when i picked it up I skimmed it in the water  at the beach it only did 2 skims that was Dum my brother Aj he laugh at me my brother Sione he was going to jump off the rocks  but he didn't because Aj pushed him and the he splashed .

IT was so cool my friend Josh from pakuranga hytes   school he came with me to the beach he was bombing all the time we ate hot chips after 4 minutes later we started swimming with Josh is  10 years old he is older then me by 1 year he was allowed to come with us he asked his mum.

Pt England way

1: If you don't listen you might get put in detention or might get to clean or write letters for the teachers if the teachers are kind to anybody use should be kind back that is a good choice if you do the wrong things you might put in the detention. It is good to make the good choices.

2: Respect is when you listen and when you do what you're told and when you do the right things your teacher would not put you in the bad places it is so good to be good.If you don't listen you should better watch out you might get put in detention or do lines.

3: Sensibili means you do it sensibili it is so good to do the stuff sensibili It is so cool being good if you be good  might get a prize from your teachers you have to sit up nicely and fold your legs and hands it is a perfect way to have a good life when you're older you would get a job or be famous.  

4: choose the right choices that means like when you are in a fight and you can walk away or tell a teacher it is good to do it the point england way the point england way there is seek help walk away. It is good to chose the right things not the bad things.

Hat explanation

Did you know that it’s good to stay in the shade. If you don’t you will get cancer and that’s bad. So you need sunblock, a hat And sunglasses.

If you look at the sun without sunglasses you might get blind.That’s why you were sun glasses  is important because it keeps your eyes safe. Sunglasses improves comfort and visibility the sun is bright then anything else that's why you wear some sun glasses when the sun brights in your eyes it will bounces back off like a mirror.

Sunblock is use for you face and there are different kind of sunblock like sunscreen. If you don’t have sunblock go to the pool’s because it’s not hot there. And when you finished you can go buy some for next time. When you go to the beach you always wear sunblock to keep safe .

When the sun is out hat’s can be use to be safe in the sun. Well bucket hat’s are more better it can keep your neck, nose, face, hair and ear’s. Hat’s are good for hot day it can help stay safe. If you don’t have a hat you will get sunburnt and that no good.

Staying safe in the sun can be hard  so if you don’t want cancer wear a hat, sunblock and sunglasses if needed. Sunglasses can keep you safe of the sun and hat’s can be use in the sun and sunblock can help too in the sun.

Rabbitohs vs Bulldogs Grand final

Today I'm writing about the Rabbitohs vs Bulldogs the Rabbitohs bate the Bulldogs. That was a hard game for the both teams the score was 30-6. The Rabbitohs deserved to win this game against the bulldogs The bull dogs should of tackled they would of won of they tackled and scored lots of tries
that was a sad game for the bulldogs but they still came second. Out of all  the other league teams  but the bulldogs are still good at league.

Holiday writing

1 paragraph :In the holidays I went down to the beach when I went with my mum and brothers and sisters when I saw this dog  I was running and the dog was chasing me.I was running in to the water and then I splashed. it was a big dog I ran because it was going to bite me but it couldn't find me.

2 paragraph :After the dog went away I ran to my brothers and sisters. And then my mum ask me to go and get hot chips

when we bought the chips I was fed the birds because they were hungry. After we ate I tried to dig a hole so I can put my legs in  . After I finished putting my legs into the sand we had to go wash our legs and hands because they were all sandy.

 on Sunday of September the 14 there was a game it was bulldogs vs  storms bulldogs bait the storms the storms lost because they didn't tackle that much but bulldogs they had the best defence but they stink.storm they should of tackled lots but this game is good for the bulldogs. the storm should of did stretchers. BOY vs BEAST BATTLE OF THE WORLD

The book is about mega beast and boy shared a world with boy the way it went was mega beast was the bad guy boy was the good guy he had lots of weapons he use them allot of times he was strong if mega beast fights and if he wins his power level would go bigger if he gets bigger he would rule the world they don't want that to happen.



I like about the book is when mega beast and boy shared a world together but the bad guy is mega beast he is so strong no one could beat him in a fight mega mega beast and boy has a fight of mega beast wins he would get more powers his power level would go high he is strong .



the part I didn't like the part when the ground split into a big crack when he fired 2 arrows the arrows were sharp the arrow was pointy it shot throw his body.

Steven of Narrative Writing - Samoa

In Samoa there a free people called Mr fatso and Mr fantastical and Mr bean Mr bean is the handicap Mr fantastical is  the smart won an last is Mr fatso he is fat but he is still strong they were trying to look for a conch Neck Minute 1  minute later they just started to sink in the quicksand.

Mr fantastical drove his Lamborghini back home. he looked and looked for his book his book about a conch . Mr  fantastical rad his book and then Mr bean just found out .where you can find a conch Mr bean said you can find a conch on top of the reef Mr fatso had to run home to get his outrigger canoes they can go on top of the reef.

They looked again and then they found a big one they have to berry the conch in the sand and then after that they have to put it in a pot of diluted bleach and then after that when it is clean you have to scrub the crusty outside with sandpaper.

This boy could jayan he plays hockey his dad is hi coach he plays on weekends but on weekdays he has training he has a good team every body in his family plays hockey even his mum but he likes hockey the most .There is a lot of people they have 15 minutes to play.they have to have to get ready.

Triathlon research

Triathlon has 3 kinds of events there is swimming biking and  running it starts with swimming  biking then running they swim 1500-meters  and they bike for 40-km and they run for 10-km

I like about triathlon is about the swimming because they swim really fast the event I hate is the biking because you can get very tired and fall off your bike but running is tiring but you still get fit

they eat healthy food they drink plenty of water to have get the waste away they are really fit they probably got 15 medals but I go for NZ

Holiday writing

In the holiday I went to a rugby game it was so cool  me  and my  family went there because My family wanted to go  watch game. they won by 3 or 4 points they were so happy because they won the game and they are going to the semi finals.

On a Monday we woke up and had breakfast then after we had our breakfast we went to buy some food for our lunch. And then we to buy some more food and we were fundraising to go Australia.  

But on the second day of the holiday my mum said wake up because I was going to miss my breakfast

.I quickly woke up because I didn't want to miss breakfast but my brother got to play his game until 8 am .but then my mum told him to get off your ps3 before I will kick you.

Badminton

Every Tuesday our Maths class goes to the hall to learn how to play badminton.

Before we start we have a warm game of stuck in the mud. Then we get into partners to practice hitting the shuttle to each other.

We have learnt  how to do different  kinds of serves. One of them is  called a   backhand.  It is my favourite. To do a backhand we must have the back of our hand facing our partner when we are holding our rackets.  

We practice hitting  the shuttle to each other lots of times to try and get better . Then our coach said we are going to play a game. We had to try and hit the shuttle into a little box but if you missed you had to do laps of the court. I only missed the box once so I only had to do one run.  When we finished we had to put the racket and shuttles away.

I had heaps of fun learning different things.

A jet boat moves by sucking in the water and it pushing it out the back. This makes the boat move forward. If it wants to go fast it has to push the water out faster.

Eggs Day Out

Have you ever seen eggs drop out of a helicopter? On Good Friday it was eggs day out. in the city. We went to catch some eggs and I went with my brother and sisters and my parents in the car.

We got put into groups of our age and then we saw Stevenson Erick.    they started drop the eggs from the helicopter. I started to feel happy.

Then when the countdown finished we had to run in to the field we had to get

eggs. I  got 45 eggs and my brother got 24 and my sister got 10.

We had a fantastic day it was so fun on good friday . i was hungry when the eggs drop
